• October 2022: As a part of the digital India transformation, the Government of India approved INR 36 thousand crores (USD 120,872.94) to install 25 thousand new telecom towers in the next 500 days in India.
• July 2022: SBA Towers Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of SBA Communications Corporation, signed an agreement with NOW Telecom Company, Inc. and its affiliate NOW Corporation. NOW Telecom collaborates with SBA Towers to provide infrastructure support. NOW Group plans to beef up its 5G wireless network technology, which is expected to allow the delivery of up to 20 gigabits per second speed to enterprises and homes.
